The Gutenburg Printing Press

Title: Gutenberg printing press

In 1450, Johannes Gutenburg created
the printing press. The printing press works
because metal type is organized and pressed
onto a flat surface. When paper goes underneath
the press, it gets stamped with the lettering on it.
The printing press was helpful and a problem. It
became easier and quicker to obtain a book; it
also made the price a lot cheaper. As more Bibles
were created, people didn't rely on the Church as
much.

The astrolobe was a device used to
help sailors find their exact location
of lattitude. This instrument was used
on many ships traveling to new places
and helped trade flourish.
